Privacy
This page covers the Sealjar website.
Who is responsible?
Vincent Schmalbach runs this website. You can find his address and contact details in the imprint.
What happens when you open a page?
When you open a page, your browser sends your IP address to the server. The request also includes the page address and technical details about your browser.
The fonts and images load from this website. Links to other websites, such as GitHub, take you to services with their own privacy rules.
Where is the website hosted?
Cloudflare, Inc. delivers this site and protects it from attacks. It processes your IP address and request details to do that. The origin server is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Falkenstein, Germany. The origin keeps no log of page visits for this site. It keeps technical error logs. Fonts and images load from this site.
What about cookies and analytics?
The site sets no cookies of its own. It counts visits with Plausible Analytics, operated by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia. Plausible uses no cookies and does not keep your IP address. It uses your IP address and browser details to create a daily identifier for counting visits. The script loads from this site, and this site passes the events to Plausible. Cloudflare can set a short-lived security cookie when it checks unusual traffic.
The legal basis for delivering and protecting the site, and for counting visits, is my legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
What are your rights?
You can ask what personal data about you is stored, request a copy, or ask for correction or deletion. You can ask to restrict its use or object to processing. Contact Vincent through the imprint. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
